Virtual Book Tour Contests

Heidi Thomas from Mount Vernon, WA, won the March, 2011, virtual book tour contest for a free copy of Deadly Currents and a mystery book from another author. Sheila Deeth from Beaverton, Oregon, won the May, 2009 blog book tour drawing for an autographed set of both books in the Claire Hanover gift basket designer mystery series.

Goodreads Contests

For each of my book releases, I run a contest on the Goodreads reading social network to give away one or more copies of the new release. If you are a Goodreads member, the best way to find out about the contests is to friend ME there and watch for my status updates announcing the contests.

Newsletter Contest

My email newsletter subscriber contest awards prizes of mystery books—an autographed copy of one of my books (winner’s choice) and a book by another mystery author of my choice. Each time my email newsletter list adds another 100 subscribers, I will draw a random number from ALL the subscribers, so those of you who sign up early have more chances to win. Encourage all of your mystery-reading friends to join to increase your odds! I will contact the winner via email to get his/her mailing address and to ask for permission to list his/her name on my website and in my newsletter as a winner.
